The insurance serves your consumer loans by illness, accident and unemployment. The loan will be completed if you were to die or be hurt by a critical illness.
Who can insure their personal loan
Our insurance is given to our GE Money Bank customers. You must be between 20 and 65 years and be an employee or self-employed. It is required that you are healthy and in good health, and are not familiar with the future of unemployment, a doctor's certificate or hospitalization.
How does it work?
The insurance will cover your monthly payments (installments, interest, fees and premiums) of up to kr.
13 000,- pr. month - in up to 12 months in each case, by following unforeseen situation:
For employees:
At 100% medical certificate beyond 30 days.
At 100% of unemployment beyond 30 days.
For self-employed:
At 100% medical certificate beyond 30 days.
At hospital stay beyond 5 days.
In addition, the insurance could meet the residual loan
in the folloving events:
Until kr. 250 000,- in the event of critical illness. *
Until kr. 250 000,- in the event of death.
* Description of critical illness:
Myocardial infarction, stroke, cancer (most kinds), renal failure, cardiovascular disease that requires surgery, transplantation of major organ (heart, lungs, pancreas or bone marrow).
What is the price of insurance?
The price of the insurance premium depends on the size of the loan. The insurance costs 8.18% of the monthly loan costs. The table below shows examples of insurance premiums for different loan amounts.
